The Bakersfield Monitor does not have the authority to investigate specific incidents or allegations. Information regarding officer misconduct that is shared with the Monitor will be forwarded to the Bakersfield Police Department (BPD) Internal Affairs for investigation.

Should you have an incident or concern that you do not want to bring directly to BPD, we provide the additional contact information for your review.
